Hi, St Paul's had a very generous donor called William ANDERSON during the 19th Century. I think his daughter was a Mary - she donated two houses to the parish which we kept until the Group Areas Act moved out our tenants then the Parish sold them and kept the money as a trust fund to give to the elderly and destitute parishioners. Mary died in the early 1900s so looks like a different ANDERSON.
