I am looking for more information on my grandfather Gerald John Hough, born and died in Cape Town, and lived in Main St, Observatory, Cape Town next to the old Lion Match Factory. I am also trying to find out who his parents were, who also lived at the same address. I have tried the NAAIRS database and the www.e-family.co.za (Use option CDNI (Cape Death Notice Index) by clicking on C.D.N.I.) And have found nothing that I can link to. The last contact with the family was in 1980, so they lived in Observatory to this date. I am even willing to try an old Cape Town phone book, to try and find some initials, we do not even know what church they belonged too. I hope there is somebody who might have some advice or information.
