There was a section in the old Somerset Road Cemetery but that closed in the 1950's. Some headstones and bodies were re-interred in Maitland Cemetery and very important people have their headstones at the Cathedral itself. The rest are gone and forgotten. I have used the service before on Ancestry's ExpertConnect website, however no-one covers Cape Town. I'm after photos of the grave of my ancestor Mrs Anne Forrest (nee Mclachlan) who was buried in St George's Anglican Church in Cape Town (see below).
