Can anyone help me find information on the marriages of Thomas & George Sheffield. They arrived in Grahamstown in 1860 with their parents and other brothers & sisters. By the mid 1880s Thomas & George owned the Eastern Star newspaper in Garahmstown and in the late 1880's they moved to Johannesburg. The only details I have on their marriages is that Thomas' 1st wife died in 1879 and he remarried to Kathleen Mason - I believe that both marriages were in Grahamstown And re George Sheffield, all I know is that his wife's name was Julia.
