Hi Sharon No haven't heard anything. I did however try get hold of Cape Town Archives Repository and the National Archives Repository Pretoria for copies of documents, sent an email but haven't heard anything from them. Hi, I live in the UK and wanted copies of documents held in the Cape Town repository. I made contact with a Henry April at [email protected] who sent me the necessary forms etc and replied to my e mails. I had to send cash from the UK to pay for photocopies I wanted and it took about 5 months in all from the time I found the reference on Ancestry24 but I did get the papers and they were invaluable. My earlier email to the list has more to do with the NAAIRS database giving error messages when one is trying to search on it. Hi Listers, An effective way to advise them is to take a screenshot and e -mail it to them at [email protected], with the word EISH! prominently displayed. This usually elicits a response and action.
