Her parents were Robert Berry SMITH and Stephanie LLOYD who was born on the 5th November 1926 in the Cape Province. Stephanie's parents were John Ishmael LLOYD born 7th October 1894 in the Cape died 1 September 1969 at King William's Town. He and his wife were married about Sept 1922.and her mother Dorothy May DICKS who incredibly lived until she was over 100 years old was born on the 13th March 1898 and died 20th October 1998 in Atlasville. John Ishmael LLOYD'S parents Oliver Ishmael LLOYD and Catherine 'Kate' CORY were my grandmother's uncle and aunt and sponsors at her christening. Oliver was born on the 18th September 1894 at East London and died 18th September 1933 at Hopewell Farm, East London.
