I am researching the St John Kneller family and descendants that came to South Africa from England circa 1890. Lauriston Willyams St John Kneller was a native of Ladysmith and a private in the 4th South African Infantry died on 12th April 1917 in action in France. He was the son of Mr E St John Kneller and his wife Mrs F M St John Kneller of 228, St Thomas Road, Durban, Natal. Any information regarding St John Knellers in South Africa since the 1890s until the present day will be much appreciated. Yours faithfully Mr K Newman Kneller
I have a strange feeling I have seen a commemorative stone for him in Johannesburg... Let me go do some rooting a round and see if I can find it, there may be some useful information on it. Yep, Brixton Cemetery I will mail the pic off list. >I am researching the St John Kneller family and descendants that came to >South Africa from England circa 1890. > > > >Lauriston Willyams St John Kneller was a native of Ladysmith and a private >in the 4th South African Infantry died on 12th April 1917 in action in >France.
