Hi List and all, I still have had no success in finding my MILLETT AND OR CLAY family that left South Africa for the UK in 1910. I would be most grateful if someone can do a look up for me as I have tried without success. They are: William CLAY or MILLETT left SA with his wife Isabella Johanna and two sons, William George and Richard John. They could have left under the name CLAY or MILLETT. The 3rd son James Henry we were lead to believe was born on ship on 3 September 1910. He was the only son baptized in Marazion St. Johns Church, Cornwall, on 11 January 1911. William George was born on 29 July 1907 and Richard John born 10 December 1908. Isabella born 1885/6 in South Africa and her husband William George Richard (father) born October 1880 in Toungoo, Burma. His grandparents were living in Marazion and their names were: William PHILLIPS and Ann PHILLIPS (nee MICHELL). William George Richard, Isabella and their 3 sons were living with the PHILLIPS family during the 1911 census. I would love to know what boat the family went to the UK in and when they left to go to the UK. They returned to South Africa on the Balmoral Castle Date of Departure: 28th Oct 1911 Where Bound: South Africa Port of Departure: Southampton Passenger Names: MILLETT, Mr W, Mrs + 3 Mstrs (all English, travelling 3rd Class) Occupation: Blacksmith Port at which passengers have contracted to land: Cape I would appreciate if someone could lead me into the right direction. Thank you. Glynis
