Joseph FURNESS, age 40, a widower who was a labourer. Catherine SKINNER is described as a 27 year old spinster. At the time they were both living at 5 Prospect Place (West of the Limehouse basin). Do not seem to be listed in the 1871 UK census. They may have had a son John FURNESS who was living at Coleridge Street, Salt River in March 2010; he wrote a letter seeking information regarding the estate of his uncle John SKINNER who had died in Auckland December 1908.
