    3. Attention:  Paul Kirby Did you get any reply on this post below? I am planning to travel to Cape Town this year and would also like to visit repositories when there as I am searching for any information on my grandfather who  was born there and relocated to UK in the early 1900's. 3. Attention: Helen Farrell Reply from Heather MacAlister (Ancestry24)suggested downloading beginners guide from web-site - some useful hints in the latter chapters. Also she gave address of Western Cape Provincial Archives & Records as 72 Roeland Street, Cape Town (Tel: (021) 466 8100). I'm hoping to find "Death Notices" and estate papers at this location for events up to 1959. Post 1959, I have identified that the estate papers & death notices are likely to be with The Master of the High Court, High Court, Parade Street (Tel: (021) 410 8300/8302). I will be departing for Cape Town later this week; I'll make contact again after return.
