Hi Eddie, I've just checked my records as I found out by accident that one of my ancestor's step-daughters actually emigrated to the Cape with her husband after her mother had emigrated with her two youngest children to join her husband at the Cape. I found three slave registers on the eggsa website.... Fortunately for me and my family records there were a couple of sales/purchases of slaves between my ancestor G.J. VAN AERT and his step daughter Mensje DE VRIES.
