Good Morning All, I am still ploughing through the LEVEY book and have now hit a speed wobble. I found on eGSSA a photo of a Lt. Colonel Joseph Henry LEVEY born 09.05.1844 died 30.08.1887 who married an Evelyn no name (according to the gravestone) and their daughter Evelyn is buried in the same grave. In my main data base I have Joseph Henry married to Martha SHAW, but no mention of a military background. Could this be the same LEVEY? Some time ago someone on the List said Patrick LEVEY who is thought to have been the sixth son of Joseph and Elizabeth LEVEY actually had no links to the LEVEY family at all. However I note that Patrick's son, also Patrick b about 1851 d in King Williams Town on 27 June, 1878 married an Ellen LONG b about 1854 d 20 April, 1918. In the LEVEY book is recorded that Audrey Merle TURNER grand daughter of May Jane Levey married Vivian Andrew Lloyd LONG b 1927 d 1982. Could there be a connection between these two long families?
