    3. John VL Rennie, "The Scottish Settler Party of 1820", has the following on James EKRON: Married by banns on 21 April 1834 in St George's Church, Grahamstown, to Ann Moffat, spinster. Her Death Notice refers to her as Mary Ann Moffat born at Sidon Farm in Gloucestershire, possibly on 5 April 1820, her parents William and Margaret Moffat. She died 15 Mar 1854, with seven minor children surviving.
