On the African genealogy list someone has explained the significance of the 23 books index that has no page numbers -- it comes from a site where you can download those 23 books in electronic format, so there is no need for page number -- you can just download the book and search it: http://tinyurl.com/nseoy3p Lawrence G. It seems that the people at GENI.COM have jumped the gun and are trying to hijack this project, so perhaps it isn't worth continuing -- maybe I'll just make my own index of the books that mention members of our family and leave it at that. I also seem not to be getting copies of my own messages on this list -- at least not for the last few days, it was OK before.
