    3. Hi Listers Obituary of Timothy CRESSWELL Timothy CRESSWELL, who was born at Radford near Nottingham in 1829. He feared the Lord from his youth, and began to preach before he was twenty years of age. In 1859, he was accepted as a Candidate for the Ministry, and sent to this country, in several circuits of which he laboured with much acceptance. In the year 1881 he visited England, but returned in the following year. A cart accident which occurred several years ago caused him much suffering, and resulted in life-long lameness, sometimes painful. But tribulation worked patience, and by his patient resignation the grace of God was magnified. His character was transparent, his disposition eminently amiable, his preaching simple and instructive. The last five and a half years of his life were spent as a Supernumeracy at Jagersfontein in the Orange Free State, and here he entered peacefully into rest on the 4th October 1889, in the sixtieth year of his age, and the thirty-first of his ministry.
