Dear Friends. Is there anybody who has more info on the Lawyer Marais on this extracted 1914 diary list? What was his name, birth etc? Knowing this would make it easier to place him. I don't know what Bizana Camp WAS historically, but Google says it IS now the location a holiday resort situated in the Eastern Cape, one of a chain of holiday facilities. The chain's website links only to its own members and its map is not really satisfactory, but Map Studio's Road Atlas shows it about half-way in a straight line between Kokstad and Port Edward, fairly close to the Provincial border and on the R61.
