I then found the other website, ancestor.co.za .. which I found to be a lot more user friendly.  It not only contained the same basic records as Ancestry.24, but I was able to access all records required by applying online, paying the fee, and receiving the records online via notification by email that they are available. When I questioned Ancestry 24 as to why I could not view the original records, I could not get a straight answer, and have now accepted the fact that my money has been wasted with them.  If I had found ancestor.co.za first, I would not have had this hassle. It appears that ancestor.co.za has much more to offer on their website, and would recommend you try them first.
