I have the following "English" families in my direct line who were based in SWELLENDAM DAVIES - Thomas & Sophia (CHILDS)from London - arrived circa 1826 - 1828 - My direct line is Francis DAVIES, Thomas's son who married Catharina LAMBERT. LAMBERT (Irish origin) - William & Johanna (CLARK) - I have never been able to find baptisms for any of their children - I think they may have been Catholic?
