Thanks! I have been amazed how much genealogical stuff is available to read on-line. Try this - navigate to: http://openlibrary.org/ Select "Only show ebooks" Try various search criteria: parish registers - 349 hits church registers - 194 hits genealogy - 3345 hits passenger lists - 236 hits regimental records - 212 hits What can you think of? Obviously not all relevant to South African researchers - but there is bound to be a lot that is! With the "Only show ebooks" box left blank the number of hits greatly increases, the balance cannot be read on-line, but they will give some indication of the records location. How about this one!: Extracts of marriages at the Cape of Good Hope, 1806-1821: (and baptisms see page n31) http://openlibrary.org/works/OL15243495W/Extracts_of_marriages_at_the_Cape_o f_Good_Hope_1806-1821 I hope this is not old news to everyone. There are many entries of great interest besides this as well. Cheers, Carol On 11 April 2011 16:45, Judy <jdowthwaite@few.co.za> wrote: > Nice to see you back > > regards > judy
