Hello Anne, Thank you for such a kind offer. I was wondering if you would mind looking up my great grandfather, James THOMAS. I am not entirely sure where he lived but my grandfather, also James Thomas, was born in Sunderland, Durham. I feel like my grandfather would have been living around that area - in North East England as he was a coal miner. I have a date of birth for him as 29 Jan 1862. He married Margaret JENKINS b. 14 May 1869. They had 6 children but only two survived childhood - Margaret Ethel, and James. He has been very hard to find so far!! Thank you again! Surely look up requests, like these, which involve only two people, should be done off list?
