Hi Gail At my stage of life one has come across "most" surnames and all seem to fit "any" locations. However for what it is worth I believe I am correct in saying that we "young ones" had an apprentice "foreman/guardian" a Mr HARTOGH at the light roller mills of ISCOR Pretoria in the mid 1960's.
