    3. Hi Rod, In 2006 I picked up some STIRK family line from Viv Kymdell. See below a bit of extract. I have a friend in the UK who has been tracing the STIRK family line and we are related through a PHILLIPS line from Cornwall. I have not heard from her in years and have just dropped her a line. Hope to hear from her. She said that a male family member came to SA and she wanted to trace his line. 1. [SOUTH-AFRICA] Joseph William Thackwray m Mary Elizabeth Hartley
    2. Eighteen-Twenty Settlers
    3. Hi Listers, I am trying to tidy up some dates in my database, and appear to have this anomally. I have Joseph William Thackwray born 10 Sep 1837, place unknown, married on16 June 1859 in Cradock Weslyan Church, to Mary Elizabeth Hartley, born 19 Jul 1841, place unknown.  The anomally is that I have both of them dying on 30 July 1893, possibly in Kimberley.  Sources I have are from a 'Weakley gedcom' published by the late David Barlow, so I cannot go back on that. Questions. 1. are all these dates correct? 2. If they both died at the same date, what was the cause?  Mining disaster at Kimberley? Hoping someone can help, and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and productive New Year. Paul -- Paul Tanner-Tremaine Hampshire, England email : [email protected] website : www.1820Settlers.com

    3. Hello again Nazeem, The familysearch site seems to have left out a number of batches, for all the years they've uploaded. Unfortunately the file you're interested in is amongst those left out. They might well include these batches in futures updates. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help. best wishes, Leanne On Sun, Dec 22, 2013 at 4:54 PM, Nazeem Raffaele Antonio Davids-Solari < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi Leane, > > I am working with the Western Cape Death Notices. > > Hope you can help. > > Nazeem > > > From: [email protected] > > Subject: SOUTH-AFRICA Digest, Vol 8, Issue 360 > > To: [email protected] > > Date: Sat, 21 Dec 2013 01:00:47 -0700 > > > > > > > > Today's Topics: > > > > 1.
