Hello All, The 1790 Census for North Carolina has the following Solomons listed as heads of household: Barnes, Goodwin, Isham, John, William, William, James, and Lazarus. I have them as follows: Barnes Martin Co. (Unknown) Goodwin Franklin Co. (Son of William Jr.) Isham Edgecomb Co. (Son of William Sr.) John Halifax Co. (Unknown) William Franklin Co. (William Jr. son of William Sr. ) William Edgecomb Co. (William Sr. son of Lewis Sr. of VA) James Franklin Co. (Unknown) Lazarus Nash Co. (Son of Peter) I have no idea who Barnes Solomon is. I suspect that James and John could be either sons of William Sr. of Edgecomb Co. or his nephews, sons of Lewis Jr. of Surry / Sussex VA. Can anyone add to or clarify this info?
