Hi The Albemarle Parish Register 1739-1778 by Rev. William Willis listed Peter Soloman on page 250 as the being made Godparent to Mary Solomon d.b.8/Apr/ 1752, he was made her Godparent in 1753 about the same month and day, by Lewis and Betty Johnson Solomon, now my question is if he were Lewis's son and there Mary's brother would it make any sense to be made a Godparent to her. Can anyone answer this. I do not have this at hand because I lost the information do to computer trouble but I believe Betty Johnson was Mary's mother. Le
