This is in regards to a post about Peter Solomon, father of Lazarus Solomon: Someone wrote that Peter Solomon and Marie Louise Malone were the parents of Lazarus Solomon. This information must have been posted in error. Because this couldn't be. The father of Lazarus was a Peter Solomon and we do not know the name of Lazarus mother. But the Peter Solomon that is referred to that married Maria Louise Malone was the son of Lazarus and Elizabeth Bedgood Solomon. On her tombstone (which I have photos of) reads "M. Louise Malone, wife of Peter Solomon, Born Apr. 17, 1815, Died May 25, 1888. On Peter's tombstone which is right beside hers (I also have photos of) reads "Peter Solomon, Born Aug 4, 1806, Died Nov. 1st. 1883. Also in the Washington Street Library in Macon, Bibb Co., GA. there is a pamphlet on the Solomon family. It plainly states that this Peter Solomon that married Maria is the son of Lazarus and Elizabeth Bedgood Solomon. Also I have been in contact with several descendants of Peter Solomon and Maria Louise Malone's. The father of Lazarus would have had to have been born about 1736 or 1740. This is according to the birth dates of his children. He would have been a very old man to have been married to Maria. He would have been about seventy-five when she was born. Then he would have been about ninety when she would have been at least fifteen to have married. I'm sure he was a very fine man. But he would have had to have been a miracle worker to have been a father that age and also since Lazarus was born in 1765. That would have had him born before his mother was. Rose Jones
