I thought I would share this with the group. I was talking to an elderly relative day before yesterday, his mother was one of Rev. Soloman's grandchildren she was born in 1892. He told me Rev. Soloman loved to go fishing, so one day he took his fishing pole and tackle box plus a scale to weigh the fish to a nearby stream in Seale Alabama. So he went down to a near by stream in Seale and began to fish. Someone approached him and told him a member of his congregation was about to have a baby, so he went to visit, they delivered the baby and used his scale to weigh the boy which top the scale at 20lbs. I do not know if that is true but it sure made a wonderful story. It seems that my mother's kin had some type of gene to catch fish, This same relative went fishing with mother's grandpa Oates and they caught 75 to 100 fish on a string, but all I have caught was a head cold. It seems that Rev. Soloman was an amazing person. His house used to be located here in Montgomery off of Carterhill Road. It like most old houses here was probably torn down for progress. > Le > > __________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Get your FREE Internet Access and Email at http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html
