Dear Folks I came very close to losing my maternal grandmother this Thanksgiving her doctor perscribed to much Ultram, and she first began to fall alot and being 93 her skin is like tissue paper and it left huge gashes, she already had places on her legs which has recently healed. She had 20 stitches in one arm. She was taking 8 ultrams a day. She went into a comatose state, Would not respond to question and had a blank expression on her face. She looked like death warmed over took my parents and uncle and aunt (mother's sister) to help her out of bed. And we all though she was going to die. I stayed up most of the night last night reading prayers for the sick from my Book of Common Prayers, God hears prayer even when it is read from a booko. She slept off and on the past three days. The first thing she asked for this morning was a cup of coffee, that is the first thing she had said in months. She is on her way to a full recovery she will enjoy her 94th birthday Tuesday. The doctor is getting her off that mess. I said that to say this life is so precious, for those of you who I hurt by being to eager for genealogy I am sorry. God Bless this group.
