What has happened to this list. It was so active when I joined. How will we ever learn if we don't get off our duffs and post some kind of information. This includes me. This is what I am trying to find out. Rev. Lewis Solomon married twice? (son of Lazarus and Elizabeth Bedgood Solomon) He married a Mrs. T. E. Bateman on 11 Nov 1863 Sumter Co., GA. They had a daughter named Cora Hunter Solomon, b. 15 Sep 1866. Lewis was 51 at the time of their marriage. His first wife Lucy Ann Lingo died 14 Apr 1863 in Twiggs Co., GA. He married Mrs. T. E. Bateman only seven months after Lucy Ann died. What I am wanting to find out is what did the initials T. E. stand for. Were they her initials or were they her other husbands? She was listed as Mrs. T. E. Bateman in the newspaper article about the marriage of her and Lewis? I would appreciate any ideas on this subject. Thanks, Rose Jones
