I found something in the book "Palmetto State Roots Transcriptions Vol. I" about a William L. SOLOMON. This was out of the newspaper on August 28, 1862, Augusta, GA. It reads "William L. Solomon, my brother of the 37th Regiment, Ala. Volunteers was born in Talbot County, Ga. Feb. 8th, 1838 and died of typhoid pneumonia, at Tupelo, Miss., June 22, 1862." Could this be the son of John Solomon and Rebecca Sturdivant? Anyone with any information please post it to the list. Thanks, Rose
