FYI...this was received from another researcher: California births from 1905-1995 and deaths from 1940-1997 are online. http://www.CyndisList.com/ca.htm#Records You can search by various methods, including soundex, county, first name and father's last name, date, etc. You may be able to fill in missing dates, names, etc. If you have California relatives that you want data on, you may want to use this source now. It is only a matter of time before this source disappears. Really, it has too much data on living people. A con artist could use it to take someone else's idenity, because it has the name, date of birth, place of birth and mother's maiden name. Thanks, Martha
