    3. Does anyone know of a Samuel Solomon who was a missionary for the Presbyterian Church in Riverside County, California in the first decade of 1900? He worked with Indian and Mexican people through an orphanage and was instrumental in finding a home for a young brother and sister whose mother died giving birth to a half brother. Their step father left them at the orphanage in about 1907. It is believed that the children were either Apache or Yaqui Indians from Phoenix, Arizona. The older, Josephine, was placed with a family in Los Angeles and the younger, Alexander, was placed with a family in San Diego. In 1966 Alexander and wife made an attempt to locate Samuel Solomon to find out about any of Alexander's parentage and birth records, but to no avail. It is assumed that Samuel died before then. Anything else about Samuel is to unknown to me. If anyone knows about this Samuel and if he has left any writings at all about these children, I would be so greatful to hear from you. Thank you Loretta _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
