In the C20 the letter 'J' appeared in the electoral registers after some voters' names. Does anyone know of a definitive account of what was meant by 'J' at different times, how the details were obtained and the assessment was made, what criteria were applied, what changes occurred throughout the years, etc. Peter Turvey 032191
