A few weeks ago there was a discussion on scanners. I did not take much notice at the time. My Epson GT6500 has given excellent service for the last 10 years but the Apple Mac (which is networked to my PC) has just died. I cannot get a driver for the PC for the Epson. I would like a A4 usb scanner (would prefer A3 if not too expensive). Resolution is important for scanning photographs. Suggestions please. Peter

Are you running WinXP Peter? Google has no trouble finding Win95/98 drivers for that scanner and the Epson web site explicitly says you should use the Windows 2000 driver on XP - of course they don't list Windows 2000 for that device but since it's the same driver download for 95/98/NT3.1/NT4 I'd go for that. = Malcolm. -- Malcolm Austen -- malcolm.austen.rw@weald.org.uk
