Hi, Is it me, the system or what? For what I think is the fourth year running my direct debit has not been collected despite assurances that it will ok next time. I have now been asked to send a cheque to cover this year and to complete another direct debit form. I just cannot be bothered. Brian Prior No. 022422

Just checked & it's not just you. Mine hasn't been collected either, but the mandate is there on my account details. I too paid by cheque last year and signed a new mandate. I was told there has been a temporary problem that had resulted in some details being lost. What on earth is going wrong? I've paid and collected direct debits for years but never come across this elsewhere. My experience of getting Direct Debits set up is that there is are a significant of errors by banks so the problem may not be with SOG administration.
