I am currently using 'Family Origins' and wish to update to a more uptodate programme. I am considering either Family tree 06 or Roots Magic. Currently my trees print out with the ancestor starting at the lefthand edge. I would like it to start in the middle. Also a programme which might also print out the ancestors of both Husband and Wife. Any help out there? Regards Alastair Ewart

Buy a Mac Mini and run Reunion: it has one of the best family tree programs I've come across. Generations on the PC is from the same stable, developed by Reunion. It is my preferred choice even though updates are no longer available on PCs.
