Over the last few months all the PCs in my local Essex county library and at Essex Record Office have also been 'upgraded' to XP; imho they are now much slower in loading even, or especially, simple web pages; I've also had to report a number of frozen terminals to staff at ERO on different visits. Ah well. I have to say that it might be the deployment or network setup rather than the operating system itself; my un-networked XP-based PC doesn't crash or load web pages slowly.
