Hi, The WORTHs were fairly well off. They were the "owners" of Washfield, Devon and Luccombe, Somerset more-or-less. Some came to Bristol and were in the Wine & Spirits business. None of this money ever came to my dear grandmother, Ada Amelia Worth (b. 1870) Bristol. I'll take a look at the Oxford site you have pasted below.
