Are details of members of the Coldstream Guards held at TNA, Kew or are there separate archives of this regiment. My GGfather: John Carr SCOTTS was recorded as a corporal Cornet player with the Coldstreanm Guards band, but was living in residential accommodation in Westminster with his family during the 1861 and 1871 census. Would thsi be normal practice whilst the band was based in London? Terry Silcock
