hello all, perhaps some member could help me again ! 1. what is the T.F.D. Medal (WW1) 2. Would a soldier ( Aaron Robinson) serving in Canada Nova Scotia appear on the Canadian census for 1861(?) as he does not on the english. Thanking you Eddy in bavaria
I believe the TFD, to which you refer, was the Territorial Force Decoration awarded to Officers after 12 Years(?) service. The Territorial Force was the pre 1914 volunteer reserve army which subsequently became the Territorial Army (TA). The Decoration (TD) continues to be awarded to Officers of the TA after 12 years service with active service counting double.
