What modesty prevented Frank from adding is that he gave the eulogy at the service, and did so in a warm and homely manner sprinkled with light-hearted touches. He struck just the right note in a manner that was extremely appropriate to a Service of Thanksgiving for Marjorie's life (or rather her Life, since she lived it with a capital L!). It wasn't a Memorial Service, because Marjorie didn't need one - our memories of her will take a long time to fade.
