I have for many years had a sword engraved "Robert Gordon, 19th Middleses Rifles", and I should like to know where the records of this unit are located so that I can find out something about its original owner - so far as I know he is no relation of mine, I would be willing to pass it on to the regimental museum or a proven descendant.
