Er, well Peter, according to their website it's only from tomorrow (Fri 2 Dec) to Monday 5 Dec that they will be closed. Business as normal from Tuesday. I try to keep closures of major repositories displayed in GENEVA: http://geneva.weald.org.uk/ (Along with a list of things to do while they are closed!) = Malcolm.
Sorry, as a couple of you have pointed out, I got it wrong! TNA is closed today (Friday), Saturday and Monday - open again on Tuesday. I couldn't have been concentrating on Wednesday when they announced over the public address system - Poor Law Commission Minutes must have distracted me. Peter Park

You may also have been predisposed to hear 'week' Peter. My recollection is that stocktaking has been a straight calendar week for some years past and that this year it has changed from past habit. = Malcolm.
