Somerset Record Office do operate a parish register microfiche copying service at £2 per fiche. We used it last year for several Somerset parishes. One has to wait a few weeks for the fiche to be produced. The relevant text from the Record Office's web site at: http://www.somerset.gov.uk/archives/ is under 'Services we Provide' and then 'Reprographics' as follows: 'The Record Office operates a service for copying microfiche of parish registers. Charges for Diazo Duplicate 16mm microfiche: Fiche £2.00 each Order charge £9.00 per overall order P&P (UK) £1.00 per batch of up to 50 fiche P&P (overseas) £2.50 per batch of up to 50 fiche We do not keep diazo fiche in stock. Batches of fiche for several orders are sent away for copying and therefore customer delivery may take up to 4 weeks.
