I had the same problem with Family Search earlier today. Sent them a message - to which they have already replied, saying that it is indeed a malfunction - caused presumably by the fact that they are currently updating the data files etc. They said they hoped to have it working properly again asap. Thanks so much Mary for that quick reassurance - I've been really frustrated by it. I have had some computer hic-coughs since I did an upgrade to some of my equipment - so wanted to pin the blame on that.......but I really wondered why someone would make things harder!
