    1. [SOG-UK] FMP new website

    3. Oh dear, I've been "upgraded" to the new FMP. I haven't had a chance yet to assess its SEARCH and accessibility to records, reported to be a retrograde step by many others. But if not already aware, images of its records do not show if you are running the current version of Internet Explorer, IE11. I'm not sure that FMP are working quickly to resolve the issue. They are telling people that a workaround is to switch to another browser, like Chrome. While this may "solve" the problem with FMP, it is not the normal definition of a workaround, much less an excuse to deliver a faulty product and drag feet before fixing it. A workaround would normally be to add the FMP website to IE's "compatibility list", but this doesn't work either. Telling people to change their browser is a bit like the government announcing that Ford cars will no longer be allowed on all the roads (even if there are more Fords than most other makes). There is a workaround of sorts. Having tried to look at your image and failed, you can look at later it under FMPs "My Records". It is very cumbersome and only for the desperate. FMP need to fix this soon David M

    3. You should be able to run IE 11 in compatibility mode so that it honours functionality that worked/works on older versions of IE. I'm travelling at the moment so unable detail how to achieve this but if anyone needs help trying this out please send me a direct email.
