Just to add that there is a lot of new material available. I was one of the lucky people invited to trial the site so I've had a head start on searching. As an experienced user of the Gale databases, I can't believe how much fresh information I've turned up in the British Newspaper Archive. The most amazing find is that my grandfather had a half brother he never knew about. My 92 year old Mum and I are still recovering from the shock. Now that the site is live I can at last blog about it.
