    2. Hello all, Today I received a forward from an American friend containing a series of WWII photos - received by her from a friend whose father, a WWII veteran, had recently died. While these photos are most likely heavily American, it occurred to me that some of the list members particularly interested in military history might want to receive copies of these via email forward.     3. Are the photos USAAF taken in Italy ? My RAAF father was in a SAAF squadron which shared a base with a USAAF sqdn at Foggia, Italy .
