Rev. Bill Raber of Calvary Bible Church will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. in the Grangeville Cemetery at Armona with Rev. Bill Farrell officiating. Mr. Shetters was a native of Sherwood, Tenn. and had lived in this community a number of years. He was an employee of Standard Oil Co. and was a foreman at the time of his retirement. He attended the Calvary Bible Church, was a veteran of WW1 and was a member of the American Legion Post 26 and the V.F.W. 6601, Oildale. He loved to pitch horseshoes and play checkers and pool. He is survived by his children, John Shetters of San Leandro, Donald Shetters of San Luis Obispo, and Louise Pence, Leona Douglas and Emogene Calvin, all of Bakersfield; his sister, viola Smith of Cowan, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ernest Love, Rod Avery, Stephen Lewis, Michael Clark, David Shetters, Donald Shetters, John Wall, George Love, Wayne Abreu, James Grady and Butch (Glenn) Deltour.
