Hance, 79, of 2020 F St., who died February 14 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Kenneth W. Adams, D. D., pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Mr. Hance was born in Bonham, Texas and had resided in Bakersfield for the past 27 years. He was associated with the Steam Fitters Union. Mr. Hance is survived by two sons, Bill of Bakersfield and Ruel Lee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, Jewell Hance of Perryton, Texas; three sisters, Delpha George of Hobart, Oklahoma, Virgel Hance of Oklahoma and Mattie Gish of San Jose; and three grandchildren.
