Thanks Paula - I learned that she had lived in Glendale from the Colorado newspaper in the town she lived before. They carried a 'brief notice' about her death and that she was living with her son in Glendale. I will contact the Glendale Public Library to see whether they have the obituary. Thanks so much for answering me and giving me this clue on where to go for the information. Yes, I do understand the logistics of Los Angeles County but when you need the information you must spread your nets wide.
